Guests of honour

On 24 April 2026, the Commander of the Mexican Air Force, joined by the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Mexico, led the promotional launch of the Mexico Aerospace Fair 2027. The ceremony underlined that FAMEX is an international aeronautical event created to bring the global aerospace industry together, and that Mexico is proud to have Italy as guest country of honour for the 2027 edition, strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between both nations. As part of the ceremony, the Ambassador of Italy handed the Commander of the Mexican Air Force a letter officially confirming his country's acceptance of the invitation, and thanked Mexico for the distinction, noting that Italy's participation will help bring both aerospace industries closer.

At the same ceremony on 24 April 2026, the State of Hidalgo was announced as guest state of honour for FAMEX 2027 — a distinction that strengthens its national standing within the aerospace sector. The Commander of the Mexican Air Force stressed that FAMEX is establishing itself as a leading international aeronautical event. The representative of the Government of the State of Hidalgo, in turn, reaffirmed the state's commitment to take an active part in the fair. FAMEX 2027 will take place from 21 to 24 April 2027 and will feature both a commercial exhibition and a flying display.
